The dreams have diminished.

Another season in which Arsenal flattered to deceive themselves. Agonizing grief tinged with lingering hopes has been the norm since we last won the league. Yes, given our position, we should have won the league, but it is what it is; we were outplayed by a better team with a few major absentees, and what could we have done differently?

Long Instagram essays are meaningless if you don't do the talking on the pitch. We wasted a nine-point advantage and missed an opportunity to capitalize on the easier games we had before facing Manchester City; bottling has reached new heights. The absence of Saliba may be associated with our recent failures, but what occurred over the last four games was nothing more than emotional deception and criminal implementation. What on God's green earth were we doing?

Whatever was said and done, given the scenario, we should have pounced on the league advantage and the elimination from domestic events. We let them annihilate us, and it's not just that; we went toe-to-toe with them and still lost 4-1. Gary, treat yourself. It is now time for the haters and rivals to resurface and say, "ToLd YoU So." This club never ceases to disappoint us, and it's amusing how we're all still hoping for a miracle. Champagne football had a great start, with many dramas only to languish in the standings with nothing to show for it.

What went wrong?

It would be far more convenient if I updated the heading to What went right because it would only take two lines for me to finish this entire blog because nothing did. Big game anxieties and players letting us down in important moments, it's difficult to battle for the crown with the league's youngest players, and it proved to be correct. The missed penalty, the cunning howlers, and so on. It was either a full bundle or a fairly realistic depiction of self-sabotage.

The innumerable injuries and refereeing scandals were outside of our direct control. We must be prepared to lose at least 9 points in a season due to the envisioned erroneous calls. But, in all honesty, and fairness, these didn't matter when we were on top. We had one hand on the trophy, but it was severed; the elephant has now officially collapsed.

What's more, we've learned from this harrowing experience, and the only thing that can save us now is some divine intervention. It would be immensely helpful if Fulham, Brentford, Brighton, and, as much as I hate to say it, Chelsea took some points away from City, wouldn't it?

Arsenal 2022/23.

Premier League:- Secured top 4, uncertain about the finishing place. Virtually, 2nd.
FA Cup:- Ousted in the fourth round.
EFL Cup:- Third round.
Europa League:- Round of 16.

Make of it what you will. You cannot dispute the management who rescued us from the incarcerated individuals yet some decisions must be made. If a guy is injured and out of almost every important game, take the call and sell him. We'd be back again next season. Until then, let us attempt to enjoy the remaining matches because we will begin to miss them once the season is over.

At the end of the day, we love you, Arsenal.
